At Avatars of War, there is something the team knows well: The Berserker's Fury of Felix Paniagua, a creative state in which his mind shifts and dives deeply into the process of creation.
It usually starts on a Saturday, a day when the Avatars of War offices are empty. Felix, knowing he will have the space all to himself, plunges into his creative process without interruptions. He works throughout Saturday night and all Sunday in the studio without rest.
By Sunday night, we receive a WhatsApp message on our phones:
"Don't come tomorrow."
That's when we all know that the Berserker's Fury has begun—an intense creative state of extreme concentration—and that we should stay home for as long as it lasts, allowing Félix to continue his work without interruptions.
The offices, usually a place of collaboration, are completely deserted. No one would dare enter.
We know that Felix, in front of his screens, is embarking on a journey of deep focus where the notions of time and space disappear.
The light is always dim, the phone is muted, and epic soundtracks fill the atmosphere as he sculpts.
During those days, Felix disconnects from any normal routine. He eats when he's hungry and sleeps when he's tired, without following any schedule.
His diet is simple: microwave rice, canned tuna, and apples. This austere regimen, along with coffee and water, becomes his only sustenance while his mind dedicates itself entirely to creation.
The days progress as we continue working from home, fully aware that Felix remains at Avatars of War, working in silence, guided solely by his intuition and passion.
The Berserker's Fury can last for several days, but eventually, the moment we all anticipate arrives.
Felix calls us, euphoric and filled with energy, though mentally exhausted.
We know that what has emerged from that creative fury will mark a turning point.
