This Iconic Barbarian, a timeless figure, is a classic miniature designed to become a legend, capturing all the Old-School essence we are so passionate about.
From the moment we saw it painted, it took our breath away.
Let's hear what Doctor Faust has to say about it:
"This was an attempt to paint in an oil paint on canvas style, similar to a Frazetta painting. The skin was painted exclusively with thin paint washes. I started with a very light basecoat and applied successive layers of warm light brown washes, each darker than the last. I first worked on the broad areas and gradually intensified the tones in the shadows and details. After about ten washes, I achieved a warm skin tone with subtle color variations, surprisingly easy to apply."
